WIA Youth Program

Younger Youth (14-18)

A main focus of the program is to offer services and activities that help younger youth to stay in school, earn a high school diploma, enroll in post secondary training and/or secure employment. Youth who participate in the program establish individual goals in the areas of basic skills, work readiness skills and occupational skills. A personalized plan is developed with each youth to assist him/her to meet established goals.

Older Youth (19-21)

The primary focus of the program for older youth is to assist them in getting the education and training needed to secure and keep gainful employment. Older youth who participate in the program will receive assistance designed to meet their specific educational and employment needs.
